AI agent for e-commerce: absorb the volume, improve conversion
An online shop never sleeps: customers order and ask questions at any hour, and sale or holiday peaks send request volumes through the roof. Hiring to absorb those peaks is expensive and slow to react. Your AI agent, by contrast, answers around the clock — without keeping anyone waiting or overloading your customer service. Hosted in France, with a deployment governed with regard to the GDPR, it serves your customers in your selling language. The agent assists, the human decides.

✎ Action · label generated — the customer confirms the return
For an online shop, a Blue Lemon Agent agent answers customers around the clock — orders, delivery, returns, after-sales — advises on products, handles reviews and chases abandoned baskets, in your selling language. It runs on local inference or is hosted in France: your customers' data is never exposed to a foreign service, architecture designed to reduce exposure to extraterritorial legislation, location alone not being enough to guarantee immunity. Governed with regard to the GDPR, it absorbs peaks in demand without growing the customer service team, and improves the buying experience. Live within a few weeks. Your teams write to it from Microsoft Teams, Slack or their email, and your customers reach it on WhatsApp Business, your website chat or email — with no account to create and nothing to install. These connections are included in every plan, at no extra cost, within the number of connections your level includes. The reviews followed are those on Trustpilot and on your Google Business Profile, with the comments and messages received on the shop's Facebook page and Instagram professional account. These platforms belong to third parties and their interfaces change without notice; the agent drafts the reply, you approve it, and any access fees they charge are passed on at actual cost, with no margin, outside the subscription. Trustpilot cannot be ordered directly: that connection requires your own Trustpilot for Business account with access to the API module, your Business Unit ID and the matching rights; it is priced on quote, after a feasibility study, with Trustpilot's own costs at your charge.

The real problem in e-commerce: the volume of requests
Most of a shop's enquiries are repetitive: “where is my order?”, “how do I return an item?”, “is this product compatible with…?”. Handled one by one by people, they swallow time and create delays that frustrate customers — especially at peaks, when the volume doubles or triples.
! The issue
The shop is caught between customers who want an immediate answer, at any hour and a workload that explodes during sales and holidays. Hiring to absorb those peaks is expensive and slow to react. Yet entrusting your customers' contact details, purchase histories and preferences to an AI service hosted outside Europe exposes that data and complicates compliance — often in disregard of the Cloud Act.
✓ Our answer
An AI agent instantly handles the mass of everyday questions, at any hour, and leaves the human team only the genuinely complex cases. The service becomes more responsive without inflating the payroll. Sovereign by design — local inference or an isolated resource hosted in France, human oversight — it improves the buying experience without ever trading away your customers' confidentiality. The agent assists, the human decides.
Customer data and the GDPR: sovereignty matters in e-commerce too
A shop accumulates a great deal of personal data: contact details, purchase histories, preferences. Here is how the architecture of our agents protects it.
Local inference
The agent can run on a dedicated machine: your customers' data passes through no foreign cloud.
Hosting in France
Otherwise, a dedicated and isolated resource, hosted in France under French law — your data: processing and access within the European Union targeted by the architecture.
Reduced extraterritorial exposure
As regards customer data, exposure to the Cloud Act and FISA 702 is reduced by design; location alone does not guarantee immunity.
Marketing that respects consent
For follow-ups (baskets, emails), the agent respects the consent and unsubscribe rules laid down by the GDPR.
Encryption & controlled access
Encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access (RBAC), strong authentication and logging.
AI Act: governed deployment
An agent strictly in support; escalation to a person on sensitive cases; traceability and oversight from end to end.
What depends on the architecture chosen These points are not general guarantees: they are settled deployment by deployment, in the quotation.
- The applicable location is that of the architecture set out in the quotation and verified before commissioning.
- Local execution is announced only for the configuration explicitly described and accepted in the quotation.
- The applicable isolation depends on the deployment mode set out in the quotation; no dedicated isolation is presumed.
- The encryption mechanisms in transit and at rest, their components and key management are those documented for the architecture chosen.
- Roles and permissions are configured and accepted for the identities and systems actually connected.
- The events logged, their content, their retention period and who may access them are defined for the deployment chosen.

A scripted demonstration. These exchanges show how the agent behaves — its sources, its refusals, what it leaves to your teams. Nothing is sent from this page, no model is queried here, and the matters named are fictional. That is precisely what we promise your data.
The behaviours shown here — monitoring, automation rules, routing and reminders — are configured with you during deployment, from your tools, your rules and your thresholds.
The architecture points named in these exchanges — location, local execution, isolation, encryption, role-based access, logging — are not a guarantee attached to the demonstration: they are those of the architecture set out in your quotation, and verified before commissioning.
· 12 orders taken on zero stock since 7 pm yesterday. Reference RB-2214 stayed buyable after it ran out: the catalogue did not resynchronise.
· One reference is selling below its purchase price. LM-0887: €24.90 on the storefront, €31.20 to buy since the supplier increase of 12/06. 87 units sold since.
· 34 parcels with no tracking event for six days with the same carrier, all despatched from the same warehouse on 01/08.
· An abnormal refund rate on DK-0451: 19 requests against 140 sales — 13.6%, against 2.1% across the rest of the catalogue. morning-watch_4-flags.pdf4 flags · source and amount
⛓ Source · catalogue, stock, purchase prices, carrier tracking, refunds
What I can establish: 87 units sold since 12/06, €548 of outright loss before shipping. The purchase price rose 18%; the selling price never moved.
And a point that is not only commercial: reselling a product as-is below its effective purchase price is penalised in France — the fine can reach 0.4% of annual turnover made in France (art. L442-5 of the French commercial code). Products in a formal sale period are an exception, and this one is not: it sits in the permanent catalogue.
I have prepared the three costed options — back to target margin, back to the purchase-price floor, or withdraw the reference — each with its effect on the observed volume.
None is applied. LM-0887_selling-below-cost.pdf87 units · 3 costed options
⛓ Source · purchase prices, sales · art. L442-5 French commercial code
Routing follows your organisation: stock and catalogue to the e-commerce manager; the price to the buyer, because they know what negotiation is under way; the parcels to customer service, who will have to answer before the customers complain; the refund rate to quality, because 13.6% on a single reference looks like a product defect, not chance.
With a chase: nothing done after 24 h on stock and parcels — the window is short because every hour adds orders you will not be able to fulfil; 48 h on the rest. Then a weekly summary to the owner: flagged, dealt with, unanswered.
What last night has already spared you: 12 orders taken on zero stock since 7 p.m., 87 units sold below their purchase price — €548 of straight loss — and 34 parcels stationary for six days. From tomorrow: the below-cost selling stopped the same day instead of running on since 12 June, orders you cannot fulfil cut off at source, 34 customers told before they complain, and a 13.6% refund rate on DK-0451 handled as a product defect while it still costs only 19 cases. The access is yours: catalogue, purchase prices, orders and carriers opened by role, logged, withdrawn with a word — your prices and your customers stay inside your walls. Changing a price, closing a listing, refunding: that is not a prohibition, it is a mandate — written, capped to the amounts and references you set, dated, withdrawn with a word. Open it to me and RB-2214 closes in minutes, at any hour, Sunday evening included; without a mandate I bring the costed options and you decide. The next step is ready: the three price options on LM-0887 are calculated, with the effect of each on observed volume — tell me which one, and under what mandate.

96 requests involve a goodwill gesture, a departure from the terms or a dispute: they do not go out without an adviser.
86 requests ask about something the product page does not cover. I will not invent it — but I am not leaving them unanswered either. Three ways forward: answer what the page does say and offer a call back, pass them to an adviser, or list them by product reference so the catalogue can be completed. Which would you prefer?

96 cases prepared: full customer history, related orders, reason for escalation — the adviser has nothing to look up.
No goodwill gesture granted, no lead time promised, no refund triggered.
And a suggestion, if it suits you: those 418 replies all draw on content your teams have already approved, and the same queue comes back every morning. I can send them without putting them to you first, on the categories you tick and no others.
What would still go through an adviser, in every case: goodwill gestures, departures from the terms, disputes, and any request naming an order. You switch it on, you switch it off — and every send stays traced to its source.
Something beyond the queue: of the 86 unanswerable requests, three product references account for half — their pages say nothing about the fit. Shall I list them for the catalogue?

If you want, I can answer those three on my own, with the gesture you set for each and the ceiling you fix. Each case would be put to you once first, on a real example.
The other 12 would keep coming up, because they do not resemble each other.

· The statutory right of withdrawal runs for fourteen days from receipt of the goods (article L. 221-18 of the French consumer code). That period has expired: the order was received 21 days ago.
· Your commercial policy allows 30 days for a return. That period is still running.
So she can return the order, but under your policy — not under the right of withdrawal. The difference is not academic: the rules on who pays the return postage differ, and here it is yours that apply.

The product page does not carry that claim, and neither does the supplier file. "Hypoallergenic" is a regulated claim: asserting it without evidence engages the seller, and you are the seller.
