Payments: AI serving reliability and fraud prevention
Payment fraud plays out in milliseconds and at very high volume — precisely where a human team alone cannot keep up.
The context
Millions of transactions, fraud patterns that change constantly: manual detection is structurally overwhelmed. The challenge is to spot the weak signal without blocking legitimate customers.
How AI comes in
On the fraud side, machine-learning models analyse transactions in real time (at the scale of more than ten million cards) to spot anomalies — an approach which, according to the project partners, cut fraud by around 40%. In parallel, AI agents built on generative AI help make operations more reliable (analysis of alerts and incidents). In both cases, humans keep the decision on sensitive situations.
What it means for you
Beyond payments, any high-volume, high-risk activity (compliance, control, security) gains from being watched by a tireless AI. With us, this processing stays hosted in France, with full traceability.
