Training your teams on AI: what the sector funds and public schemes pay for

The first risk in an AI project is not technical: it is adoption. A trained team uses the agent, supervises it properly and gets the gains; a team left to itself works around it.

In brief — An AI agent only delivers its full value if your teams know how to work with it. The good news: that upskilling can be paid for. Your OPCO (sector skills operator) can cover AI training for your staff under the training levy; the first tier of the IA Booster programme (self-assessment plus a ten-hour path on Bpifrance Université) is free; and short-lived schemes such as FNE-Formation may be added depending on the period.

Your sector fund, the first reflex

That is why training is included in our commissioning — and why it is worth knowing it can be funded.

Every company contributes to vocational training. Depending on your sector and your size (firms under 50 employees are given priority), your OPCO can cover all or part of your staff's AI training: awareness, hands-on use of the tools, supervising an agent, GDPR good practice. Contact your OPCO adviser with the training programme — we supply the descriptive material needed for the application.

The free IA Booster foundation

Before any spend, the IA Booster France 2030 programme offers an online self-assessment (15 minutes) and a ten-hour training path on Bpifrance Université: AI fundamentals, techniques, ethical and regulatory issues. Ideal for bringing everybody to the same level before the project.

Short-lived schemes

Depending on the period and the sector, schemes such as FNE-Formation (national employment fund) or European funds (ESF+) may co-fund digital transition paths. Your OPCO or your regional employment directorate will confirm what is open.
